beautiful space but a few quirks
The attention to detail in the decor and setup made our stay feel special. The breakfast, especially the homemade granola, was a standout and truly delightful. The garden view from our room added a peaceful charm to our experience that we absolutely loved.
The wi-fi signal was weaker than expected, which could be inconvenient.

A few things could use some improving. for instance, some plumbing quirks could detract from the experience. those who prefer a bit more hustle might find the remote location a bit off-putting, and the breakfast menu could use more vegetarian options. Lastly, I noticed some guests wishing for a bit more seating in the room to really kick back and relax, and that lack of poached eggs on the menu is just a shame, particularly for how good the rest of the food is.

I had an amazing 3-night stay at the Old Stables Bed & Breakfast. The Granary room offered a huge, comfy bed, and the roll-top bath was a lovely touch. Aly and Simon provided thoughtful extras like homemade cookies and a basket for my dog, which made us feel at home right away. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. fluffy homemade pancakes with bacon were unforgettable! I appreciated the spacious room that included a fridge, perfect for keeping drinks cold. On the downside, I found the remote location slightly isolating, and I wished there were more vegetarian options on the breakfast menu and a few more seating options in the room. the attention to detail and warm hospitality really set this place apart, making it a great escape in the countryside.
